About / Our Story

We built the team we wished we could have hired.

Digital Polygon started with one belief: the work that cannot fail deserves the people who actually do it. No layers, no handoffs, no junior team waiting in the wings. That belief still decides how we hire, how we run a project, and who shows up in the room.

How we started

It began with a frustration we kept hearing.

The same story came up again and again. A team had hired a capable-looking agency, met impressive senior people in the pitch, then watched the real work get handed to a rotating cast they never chose. By launch, the people who understood the project had moved on, and the client was left operating something nobody had built for them.

We thought the highest-stakes work deserved the opposite. So we built a team where the people who scope the work are the people who do it, and where senior judgment is present from the first call to long after go-live. That is not a service tier. It is the whole company.

Years and hundreds of projects later, the principle has not changed. When an organization brings us a platform or a revenue system that simply has to work, they get the people who can make sure it does.

Every engagement we take on is, at its core, a risk mitigation project. Our job is to make sure the thing that cannot fail, doesn’t.

The belief behind how we work

What we believe

How we actually work.

The trade-offs we make when a decision is hard and the stakes are real.

Accountability over hierarchy

One team owns the outcome end to end. When something has to work, you should never have to wonder who is responsible, because the answer is always the people in the room with you.

Operate, don’t just launch

A platform is something you run, not a project you finish. We design for the team that lives with the work every day, and we measure success by how capable you are once we step back.

Honest before the sale

We would rather tell you the hard truth about scope, timeline, or risk than win work we cannot stand behind. The first conversation sets the tone for the whole engagement.

Build in the open

We rely on open source, so we help maintain it. The fixes we make go back upstream, and the tools we build, like Polymer, are shared. A healthier commons makes every client platform stronger.

The impact

Trusted with work that genuinely matters.

From early-stage startups to the Fortune 100, organizations bring us the platforms and revenue systems they cannot afford to get wrong. Some of that work changes a balance sheet. Some of it changes lives.

Global

Team across time zones

The engagements we are proudest of are not always the largest. They are the ones where the stakes were human. We have helped a nonprofit unlock the healing power of imagination for children in treatment, and helped mission-driven teams reach the families who need them, by making the technology behind them simply work.

That is the throughline. Whether the platform serves a Fortune 100 board or a small team with an outsized mission, we treat the responsibility the same way.

The throughline

How the story has unfolded.

The details have grown. The principle behind them has not.

A team built around accountability

We started Digital Polygon to do high-stakes digital work without the handoffs, with senior people present from the first conversation onward.

WebOps as a discipline, not a buzzword

We committed to running platforms, not just launching them, and earned the Drupal, Pantheon, and Acquia credentials to back high-stakes builds and migrations.

Two practices, one accountable team

We added RevOps so the revenue systems behind a platform are owned with the same rigor, reaching HubSpot Platinum, the top 5% of partners worldwide.

Global, senior, and building in the open

Today our team works across time zones, contributes to the open source communities our work depends on, and maintains Polymer, our own open source WebOps product.

The people

A company is who shows up.

Team & Leadership

The senior team you actually work with.

Meet the people who scope, build, and stay accountable for the work, across both practices and every time zone.

Careers

Do the work that gets trusted.

We hire senior people who want ownership, not layers. If that sounds like you, we would like to talk.

When it has to work

We deliver. Let’s talk about your project.

Tell us what cannot fail. We will tell you, honestly, how we would protect it and what it takes to get it right.
